Available with the latest dual Intel® Xeon™ 5600 six core or quad core processors, the high density, rack-mounted 3DBOXX 8500R is a remote access workstation designed for graphic and compute-intensive software applications in engineering, animation/VFX, digital imaging, and product design workflows.

The 3DBOXX 8500R delivers high resolution, full frame rate 3D graphics and HD media, HD audio, and full USB peripheral interoperability—over an enterprise LAN or WAN. And with no lag time or loss of image quality, the 3DBOXX 8500R user experience is identical to traditional creative environments where the workstation is located at the artist’s desk.

Consolidate, Eliminate, Administrate

The 3DBOXX 8500R eliminates noise and clutter by moving workstations away from artists’ desktops and consolidating them into a dedicated server room. Centralized management increases the ease of administration, while artists experience a quieter, cooler, and more spacious work environment.

Breakout Box

The 3DBOXX 8500R utilizes a stateless portal device at each desk connected remotely to the user’s workstation (via Ethernet LAN or WAN) and provides a local breakout box for connecting video monitors, USB, desktop speakers, and other standard peripheral devices.
