Hours: 7am - 4pm M-F This opportunity is a full-time position.
BOXX is looking for a Computer Assembler to join our team and contribute to BOXX's ability to deliver systems that are optimized for today's high-end visual computing applications.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
* Assemble computer workstations & render nodes;
* Check chasse, part numbers on drive, logo box and motherboard prior to building system;
* Build systems based on mother board specifications;
* Maintain system board BIOS updates and driver updates released by product manufacturers;
* Check component parts, labels, and verify customer name prior to packaging and shipping system;
* Package and ship systems;
* Clean and organize work area daily;
* 2+ years of computer build experience;
* working knowledge of computer components and peripherals;
* A+ certification a plus;
* Abiliity to lift up to 50 lbs.

Computer Production Engineer |
|
Technology Company designing high-performance computing systems for visual effects (VFX) design professionals and advanced visualization has an immediate opportunity for a Production Engineer. The Production Engineer will be responsible for the technical oversight of the production work order software integration and test process.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Training of Production Technicians in software integration, work order testing and troubleshooting
• Providing Production Technicians with engineering requirement documents
• OS image maintenance updates for new drivers and Microsoft updates
• Assisting with Production work order load as required
• Interface with Product Engineering on all product requirements and changes
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills / experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or other relevant industry
• Certification in A+ and MCP Windows 7 required; Linux certification a plus but not required
• Experience with Ghost and ImageX imaging tools required.
• Experience with Microsoft OEM deployment tools required.
• A minimum of (5+) years experience in computer repairs and configuration
Applicants must be self starting individuals who possess the ability to guide and train a team while solving practical problems whilst dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Successful individuals will thrive in a fast paced environment, possess strong time management skills and enjoy problem solving.
